Ellen, Dave, Karen and Gail - I'm so sorry for your loss and that I'm just hearing about Larry's passing. I have fond memories of playing in the streets of Bernardsville with all my childhood friends. I think your family was the first NASCAR family I knew.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Robin (Picone) Wright

When I met Larry and Gail, about 25 yrs ago, it felt like I had known them forever. They are like a second set of parents that I always felt comfortable with and looked forward to seeing. Going to their house was like going home. Too many memories, but one of my favorite was how he hoarded the Coquito I used to make him every Thanksgiving, and all the beach parties! It is so sad to say goodbye. Your smile and sense of humor will always be how we remember you. Norah & Bobby ❤

First, we would like to say how sadden we were to hear about the loss of a sweet friend, Larry. Larry was always so outgoing and friendly. You couldn't go by his house on Bernards Avenue without him yelling from his porch "come and have a cocktail" usually a Manhattan. To the family, we are so sorry for your loss. Even though they moved from Bernardsville several years ago, we can't go by the house and not picture Larry on that porch. With deepest sympathy, Maureen and T.J.

Our condolences and love go to his family. Larry was a great man and we were blessed to have him as our neighbor if only for a short time. We will miss him waving from the porch on a nice day. We know he is at peace and smiling down on all of us.

Larry was a gentleman, a veteran, and devoted family man... the thought, “they broke the mold” comes to mind! Gail and Larry gave true meaning to wedding vows, having been each other’s sweethearts since they were teens. Gail cared for Larry and was by his side, when he made his journey home. Prayers for Gail, their children, grand and great grandchildren . Rest in eternal peace Larry... your time on this earth was well spent!
