Obituary of John H Mohs

John H. Mohs, age 71, of Washington, NJ, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021, at home. John was born May 7, 1949, to the late Hilary Mohs and Ruby (nee Davies) Mohs in Akron, OH. After high school, John had served in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked in the autobody department at Konnor Chevrolet located in West Caldwell, NJ for over 20 years. John was a resident of East Orange, NJ until he moved to Washington, NJ in 1990. John enjoyed being with his friends at his favorite establishment, Mike's Bar located in Budd Lake, NJ. John is survived by his beloved wife, Joni-Ann Tondo; sons, Jeffrey Mohs and Jason Mohs; daughters, Tonimarie Mohs and Stephanie Nisbett; brother, Michael Mohs; sister, Mary Ellen Mohs; and grandchildren, Peyton and Barrett. John is predeceased by his brother, Donald Mohs. All services at this time will be held privately under the care of Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Washington NJ.
