Obituary of Katie Lynn Kain

Katie Lynn(nee Emerich) Kain, age 29, of Washington, NJ, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Katie was born on July 4, 1991 to her loving parents, Edward Emerich and the late Christine Lynn (nee Levenchuck) Emerich.

Katie had attended Warren Hills High School.  She was most recently working as a cashier.  Katie loved hiking and going to the beach.  In her free time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and art. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her cat, Tinky.  Katie was a loving daughter and sister.  She will be remembered for her kind heart and vivacious personality.

Katie will be forever missed by her father, Edward Emerich; stepmother, Michelle Emerich; brother, Joseph Emerich; sisters, Sarah Emerich and Natalie Emerich; grandmother, Janet Emerich; aunts, Maryann Emerich, Debbie Banasiak, and Judy Ramos; soulmate, Benjamin Griffith; and many other friends and family.

Katie is predeceased by her mother, Christine Lynn Emerich; grandfather, Edward Emerich; and her best friend, Cecilia Phillips.

A Celebration of Katie's life will be held at a later date.
