Obituary of Jeanette W. Dunton
Jeanette "Judy" W. Dunton (nee Whitmore), age 82, of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Washington and Oxford, NJ, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Born July 28, 1938 in Phillipsburg, NJ, Judy was the daughter of the late Frank C. Whitmore and the late Alice C. Whitmore (nee Slater).
Judy married the love of her life, David B. Dunton, on December 10, 1977. They were married for 43 precious years. Together they raised a beautiful family. Judy dedicated her life to her family whom she adored. She took great pride and enjoyment in watching her children grow. Judy cherished spending time with her wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren. Judy liked to spend her free time playing bingo, doing crosswords, playing games on her ipad, and playing the lottery. Judy will be remembered for her kind heart and generous spirit. She will be missed dearly by all those who knew her.
Judy will be forever missed by her beloved husband, David Dunton; sons, Ed Lindaberry and his wife Jackie of Palm Coast, FL, Mark Lindaberry and his wife Kathy of Washington, NJ, Scott Lindaberry and his wife Marilynn of West Virginia; daughters, Janice Decker and her husband Bob of Effort, PA, Michelle Stone and her husband Gene of Washington, NJ, Stacey Hann of Washington, NJ, Roxanne Reinacher and her husband Dave of Oxford, NJ; sister, Nancy Kreis of Mt. Bethel, PA; brother, Danny Whitmore.
Judy is predeceased by her sons, David W. Lindaberry and Michael A. Lindaberry; daughter, Danell L. Stott; parents, Frank and Alice Whitmore; sister, Brenda Kemmerer.
Relatives and friends may gather with the family on Thursday March 18, 2021 from 10:00 am until the start of her service at 12:00 pm at Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service 142, West Washington Avenue, Washington NJ 07882.
