Obituary of Marian Meyer Eberle

Marian Meyer Eberle, age 97, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in Boynton Beach, FL while surrounded by family who loved her dearly.  Born on August 7, 1923 in Somerville, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Ferdinand Meyer and the late Marion Bigelow Meyer.

Marian graduated high school in 1941 and married her beloved husband, Leighton Charles Eberle on December 20, 1943. They raised four children, Frederick, Lawrence, Cathy, and Suzanne, whom they adored.  Marian was also a proud grandmother,  great grandmother, aunt, great aunt and a friend to every animal that was fortunate enough to cross her path.  

An avid reader, Marian continued to keep up with the world around her, reading the paper every day right up until the week she passed. She believed in the best in people and had a unique ability to make those around her do what she knew was right without ever raising her voice. Her family is still trying to figure this out.

Marian will be forever missed by her son, Frederick Corvin Eberle; daughter, Suzanne Eberle Brown; and loved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marian is predeceased by her beloved husband, Leighton Charles Eberle; son, Lawrence Levan Eberle; and daughter, Cathy Elaine Eberle Conley.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday June, 19th at 12:00 pm at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton NJ. Arrangements are under the care of Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Washington NJ.
