Carol you will be so missed. We had such a good time at our “martini bitches” dinners. I don’t think any of us has ever laughed so much and hard.

Prayers and condolences to all of Carol and Ralph's family, but she is now with her precious husband, Ralph, her Mom and Dad, and Brother. We had so many good times with the Shive family in Hampton and I always considered Carol as my older sister along with Joannie.. She was a very strong and gutsy person and I admired her strength. Love and comfort to you all...

Mom- know that I will be forever grateful for the wonderful son you brought into this world. And yet, for what could have been, what should have been - the loss today so overwhelming. Is it me or does every goodbye, one's final breath- only deepen the awareness of how precious and fleeting our time here on earth? The lives given us - to cherish and celebrate God's wondrous blessings, especially the gift of one another. How He designs our days -His Almighty Hands holding secure each one, where moment by moment His grace, love and purpose are readily available. Yes, death in all its darkness, has a way of illuminating the possibilities of all God desires this life to be. And so I pray that through this good-bye we may all learn to love more deeply, walk more faithfully and live more fully the life God desires for all of us.
