Obituary of Kathleen Ann Hengst

Kathleen Ann Hengst, 68, of Oxford, NJ, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022. Kathleen was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on October 17, 1953 to the late James H. and Florence E. (Gibczynski) Murphy.  She graduated from Warren Hills High School, Class of 1971.  Kathleen worked at Warren County Public Health Nursing for over 25 years before retiring in 2007.

Kathleen is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dale L. Hengst; two sons, Matthew D. Hengst and his wife Randi of Lower Nazareth, PA, and Steven J. Hengst and his wife Aleesha of Alpha, NJ; four grandchildren, Abram, Eleni, Jacob and Tyler; a sister, Susan Murphy and her husband Gerard Kurpicki; along with several other loving family members and friends.

Following the wishes of Kathleen, all services were held privately at this time.
