Obituary of Ruth Ann Lambert
Ruth Ann Lambert (nee Transue), 80, of Belvidere, New Jersey, formerly of Washington, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at her home on December 29th, 2022. Ruth Ann was born in her family home in Washington, New Jersey on August 27th, 1942 to the late Alice and Gerald Transue, and spent most of her life as a resident of Washington. Ruth Ann graduated from Washington High School in 1960 and went on to earn a certificate as an LPN in Philadelphia. Throughout her life she worked in various roles from a pediatrics nurse at St. Joseph’s in Philadelphia, to a geriatrics nurse at Stone Arch Care Center in Pittstown, New Jersey.
Ruth Ann was a loving Wife, Mother, Daughter, and Grandmother and will always be remembered for her compassion for others and her ability to put a smile on your face. Most important to Ruth Ann was her family. She even took on the role of at home nurse for her mother in her later years as she battled Alzheimer’s. Ruth Ann was also a woman strong in the Christian faith and attended church regularly. She loved to dance, take her grandchildren to parks, and word search puzzles.
Ruth Ann will be forever missed by her beloved husband of 56 years Albert Lambert, her Son James Lambert and his wife Diane, Son Anthony “Tony” Lambert and his wife Linda, Daughter Veronica Frady and her husband Larry, and her grandchildren: Patricia, Samantha, Stephanie, Alex, and Scott. Ruth Ann is also survived by her Brother Gerald Transue of Easton, Pennsylvania and nieces and nephews.
