Obituary of Cinda Lee Read

Cinda Lee Read, 80, of Washington, New Jersey passed away on August 9th, 2023 at her home. 

Cinda was born on January 6th, 1943 to the late Ruby and Marion McCoy in Wildwood, New Jersey. Cinda married her beloved husband the late Lynwood Wildrick in June of 1969 and together they raised three fantastic children; Michelle, Stephanie, and Michael. Unfortunately Lynwood passed away on July 28, 2000. It wasn’t until December 18th 2005 when Cinda was married to Donald Read. Cinda worked for many years as a CNA and loved being able to care for others in need. 

Cinda was a woman of the Christian faith and we pray that she now rests with the lord in one of his many mansions. Cinda’s passion was her family and she loved being the best wife and mother she could be. She was an excellent chef and loved to cook for the family and any of the kid’s friends that happened to make their way over to the dinner table. She also enjoyed sewing and could mend any rip or tear, and make a torn pair of pants look as good as new. 

Cinda will be forever missed by her daughter Michelle Raiden and her husband Bobbie, daughter Stephaine Gileza and her husband Eric, son Michael Wildrick, grandchildren: Monica Newton (her husband Brian), Megan Markle, Cheyanne Gileza, Samantha Wildrick, Katherine, Wildrick, Allyssa Henry, Brenndan Gileza, Timothy Gileza, and by her Great- Grandchildren: Hailey Erz, Heaven Martino, Nathan Markle, Alanzo Lewis, Noah Lewis, Lenell Marshall, Alaya Green, Jaydo Green, Armonie Scott, Avery Henry and Alvin Henry. 

In accordance with Cinda’s wishes all services will be held privately under the care of Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home and Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers it was Cinda’s wish that everyone just say a prayer for her in their own peaceful thoughts.
