Obituary of Chelsea Barbieri

Chelsea Barbieri,37, of Washington, New Jersey passed away on November 21^st,2023. She was born in Washington in 1986. Chelsea graduated from Warren Hills Regional High School in 2005 and went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Chelsea never married or had any children, but was a mom to many rescued cats and dogs that she loved and nurtured through the years. Chelsea crafted her own unique version of happiness and was unapologetic for any of her life choices.

Chelsea loved nature, she loved animals, and she loved her family. After living by herself for some time she had just began to start anew with her boyfriend Christopher and her beloved dog Blitz. Chelsea was a gifted care giver for many years and worked through Care.com; helping hospice patients until they took their last breaths with dignity and love.  Her last employer was The ARC of Warren County.

Chelsea is predeceased by her sister Jeanie Barbieri, both sets of grandparents Ralph and Annie Barbieri and Doris and Vincent DeMaso, uncle Vinnie Barbieri formerly of Manahawkin, uncle Tom Chernesky formerly of Toms River, and many more family members.

Chelsea is survived by her parents Phil and Cheryl Barbieri of Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey, sister Nicole Sarramalho and her husband Jorge, Goddaughter Juliana Sarrramalho of Washington, boyfriend Christopher and her dog Blitz who now live and learn to heal together.

All services are being held privately in accordance with the Family’s wishes.
