Obituary of Robert Clifford Anderson

Robert Clifford Anderson, 82, a lifetime resident of Washington, passed away on Friday November 24th, 2023 at his home with his beloved wife Joan by his side. Robert was born in Washington in 1941 to loving parents the late Elsie and Clifford Anderson. Robert attended Warren Hills Regional High School and went on to work as a machinist for the American Can Company for many years before his retirement. Robert married the love of his life, Joan Tillou in Aril of 1960 and together they had two children Debra and Robert. Robert loved his family and strived to be the best husband, father, and grandfather that he could be. 

Robert is survived by his beoved wife of 63 years Joan Anderson, his daughter Debra Anderson, son Robert "Robbie" Scott Anderson, four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. 

Robert is predeceased by his parents Clifford and Elsie Anderson. 

A memorial service for Robert will be held on December 8th, 2023 at the Frist Presbyterian Church of Washington located at 40 East Church Street, Washington, New Jersey, 07882 at 11am.
